Con Watch: TCEG Con

New to Edmonton’s convention roster, TCEG Con makes its claim as the first gaming convention in the city. Produced by gamers, for gamers, TCEG Con features a number of gaming events and tournaments, vendors, a cosplay competition, a Nintendo digital playground, and more.

Held at the Northlands Expo Centre over Thanksgiving weekend from October 9 to 12 (that’s right—four whole days), TCEG Con has something for every kind of gamer, from fighting games, to trading card gaming, FPS, tabletop, RPG miniatures, and everything in between.

The con also has some very special cosplay guests (and some of my personal favourites in the city): Mythic Roots Design and Cosplay, Naytay Cosplay, and Kitnip Cosplay. All three cosplayers will be Master Judges for the Canadian Cosplay Crown Championship contest, held on the Sunday.

Adult passes for the event are $15 for a one-day all-access pass and $20 for a premium four-day all access pass.

More information about TCEG Con can be found on the event website.
